Hello,

My name is Ferry, and I am 23 years old and in the last year of my studies in Wageningen. I am a fan of the Dutch underwater world and would love to make others enthusiastic about diving! As the committee coordinator, I aim to create an inclusive environment within the association.

Functioning in committees and making people enthusiastic about joining are my responsibilities. The things the committees will organise are not just events, but opportunities for us to share our love for diving and create a strong community within the association. Furthermore, I think inspiring people to go diving with the association is nice because the underwater world is a whole new experience we can share together.

Being part of this board is a source of great enjoyment for me. It allows us, as an association, to provide the opportunity to dive, build a social network, and offer education. The committees play a vital role in the association, especially during the winter when it’s too cold to dive in Dutch water if wearing a wetsuit, and almost all students do.
