Since the beginning of 2021, students of Wageningen University come together to dive and share their knowledge about this fantastic underwater sport and everything that relates to this.
They named it the Wageningen Student Dive Association (W.S.D.A.) The Seadragons. Our association creates opportunities to dive more often with people from our community of students and people who are related to Wageningen University. Due to creating this platform, we try to develop more connection between with the same interest for the underwater world. Due to multiple committees of our association, a lot of social, informative and active activities are organized. Hereby it is always fun to be a member of W.S.D.A. The Seadragons, both in water and on land.
Both beginners and more advanced divers are welcome to W.S.D.A. The Seadragons. Students who have never dived before can have their first underwater experience by a discovery dive in the Swimming-pool where we train (MFC Doelum, Renkum). Besides this discovery dive it is possible to follow the 1* open water diving course at W.S.D.A. The Seadragons, depending on the waiting list. After succeeding this course, students will be certified by the Dutch Underwater Sports Association (NOB), which is valid all over the world. Students who are already more experienced in scuba diving are welcome to join our community and expand their knowledge and skills by diving more often with other members.
If you are interested in joining our community, please don’t hesitate to get in contact with us.
