Hello fellow dive and ocean lovers!

My name is Jarre Ameye. I have the pleasure of being the current secretary of the seadragons. I am 21 years old and from the far Belgium. I am a Bachelor student in my first year of the bachelor Marine Sciences. I am currently a rescue diver and have ambition to become a dive master.

I first dived as part of marine conservation volunteerwork. This is where I fell in love with the ocean and everything that lives underwater. Diving for me is the entry to a different world, one that I am fascinated by. Diving allows me to keep learning about that world. I like to dive in any ocean/sea although the tropic marine ecosystems of south east asia has a special place in my heart. That is where I first saw my favorite animal, the seahorse, but luckily those can be found all over the world!

This half year I hope to make our association grow and to establish our name as a diving association in Wageningen! Together with the board I want to make the association as approachable as possible for divers and non-divers alike and to get as many enthusiasts for the sport together as possible.
