Hi,

My name is Amber, I am 22 years old and I am the current Secretary of W.S.D.A. The Seadragons. At the moment, I am busy with finishing my last courses of the BSc Soil, Water and Atmosphere and I will hopefully start the MSc Earth & Environment soon.

I started my diving experience in 2021 when I got my certificate at diving school ‘de Blauwe Zeester’ in Renkum. I got the course as a birthday present from my parents. They used to be divers and have seen a lot of different diving sites around the world. I have always loved being in the water and as a kid you could find me snorkeling around for hours. If you join me on a beach vacation, I will still do that. However, after getting my certificate, I did not dive for a long time and therefore I decided to join the Seadragons in the beginning of 2024.

As Secretary of the association, I will make sure every email will be answered and I will be the contact person for everyone that is interested in joining the association. I will also make sure that we will never miss an appointment as I will be the ‘walking agenda’. In addition, I will make sure that all our meetings have minutes and that the association stays organized.
